SLA host status overview for host groups

As an extension of the SLA module, version 4.8.1 of openITCOCKPIT provides an overview page that displays all included hosts with their current SLA availability status in the form of a heatmap. The hosts status overview is integrated as a tab in the extended view of the host group.

Each individual tile shows the current availability value and the minimum availability value in % and is linked to the SLA tab in Hosts->Browser (display: current availability value / minimum availability value %). If the minimum availability value is not reached, the tile is colored red, otherwise green.

Enhancement in Changelog

The changelog contains all changes to openITCOCKPIT, such as hosts, services, commands and so on. With version 4.8.1, the actions user login, user deletion and password change are also logged.

Mod-Gearman on satellites

Having successfully implemented Mod-Gearman for the master server, we are now pleased to extend the performance boost to the satellite servers as well.

Updates in SAP monitoring

The Consol SAP plugin for querying via the RFC interface has been updated to the latest version. This update addresses several issues related to analyzing short dumps and transaction rollbacks. Additionally, the check_sap_webservices.py plugin has been enhanced with a new method that allows for the analysis of arbitrary SAP system log files through the SAP Control Webservice.

Deprecated Linux versions

In upcoming releases, newer packages, such as for PHP, will be required to support new features. As a result, Ubuntu Focal and Debian 11 will be marked as deprecated with the next release.
