Check out our last release in the year 2023. It comes with awesome new features in the Import module and improvements in the Eventcorrelation module. 🎄ðŸŒ
In addition to the option of using Icinga2 as an external monitoring system, two other well-known monitoring systems have now been added: PRTG and ManageEngine’s OpManager. Both are queried via APIs and provide status and performance data for openITCOCKPIT.
For all informations, see our documentation.
Representation in openITCOCKPIT
Dependency trees of the i-doit CMDB can now also be displayed directly in openITCOCKPIT. All objects that exist in openITCOCKPIT also show the compressed status (as within maps), so that you can quickly find out the root cause of your problems.
Beside the import features for new external monitoring systems, there is also a cool new iTop integration, that gives the possibility to import host groups based on iTop Applications.
If a downtime should be handled with a different status than the actuals one, this can be set globally in Event Correlation Globals. To do this, simply adjust the Status for service in downtime selection. The default selection is that the normal state is used.
