π The release 4.8.6 of openitcockpit is a special release, that fixes some important bugs in LDAP contact import, SCM-Module and Systemdowntime permissions.
All emails sent after the deadline will include a cumulative status icon in the subject line, representing the overall resource status:
π΄ Red: Displayed when at least one resource is unconfirmed or a confirmed resource has a “Critical” status.
π‘ Yellow: Displayed when all resources are confirmed, none have a “Critical” status, but at least one resource is in “Warning” status.
π’ Green: Displayed when all resources are confirmed and have an “Ok” status.
In version 4.8.6, this behavior was adjusted: Previously, the samAccountName was used as the contact name, while the selection box displayed the name in the format “First Name, Last Name (samAccountName).” After selection, the samAccountName was set as the contact name, and “First Name, Last Name (samAccountName)” was placed in the description field. To improve readability, these two values were swapped in version 4.8.6: The contact name now displays “First Name, Last Name (samAccountName),” while the samAccountName is stored in the description field.
In version 4.8.6, this behavior was fixed: Users can no longer see hosts in the Recurring Downtimes list if they do not have permissions for the container in which the host resides. This check already existed for services, so the list was displayed in a filtered manner. It was also ensured that downtimes for services that a user does not have permission to view are no longer displayed.
