🚀 The release 4.8.4 of openitcockpit is a special release, that changes the authorization behavior of the grafana integration 🚀
Grafana integration
With the latest Grafana version, it is no longer possible to create API keys via the Grafana API. However, this is necessary for the integration in openITCOCKPIT. Grafana has changed the authorization to so-called service accounts. Therefore, the Grafana integration does not work properly with new installations. Version 4.8.4 solves this problem and a service account is automatically created instead of an API key.
In rare cases, this problem may also occur during updates.
If Grafana does not work after an update, the problem can be solved with the following two commands:
openitcockpit-update
oitc cronjobs -f
