We ask for your help to improve openITCOCKPIT

With openITCOCKPIT 3.5 we will implement a collector to send anonymous statistics to it-novum GmbH, the company behind openITCOCKPIT.
Why do you ask for anonymous statistics?
This Informationen influences our decisions such as:
- Which openITCOCKPIT modules should get new features?
- Which operating system ist most used?
- How frequently are updates installed
- Which versions are still running in the field
Additionally these information will help us to optimize the database scheme, improve the scalability and even to make openITCOCKPIT better.
Will be any data send without my approval?
No! By default openITCOCKPIT will not send any data to us. The administrators can decide to enable the sending of anonymous statistics. To be as transparent as possible, we added a new page “Anonymous statistics” where you can enable or disable sending anonymous statistics at any time.
What data will be send?
We are only interested in system metrics about the openITCOCKPIT server itself. For example, CPU load, memory usage, CPU model and number of cores, used openITCOCKPIT Version, used PHP version and so on.
We are not interested in who you are, which company your are working for or any other personal data.
The “Anonymous statistics” page will also show the complete set of data, which will be send:
