π The release 4.8.2 of openitcockpit is a special release, that fixes some important handling bugs, that have been reported to us since the 4.8.1 release. There are also some very helpful changes for the i-doit import or the transfer of external commands. π
Data from IsarFlow can now also be displayed via the import module. IsarFlow is a Netflow / sFlow / IPFIX and SNMP data-based software for monitoring company networks.
With version 4.8.2, notifications are also logged as individual messages. The number of recipients to whom the message was sent is also counted.
Until now, UUIDs always had to be used when transmitting external commands. From version 4.8.2, it is also possible to submit the displayed host and service name.
In addition to being able to import assets from i-doit using an API key, it is now also possible to authenticate yourself using a user name, password and API key.
Our in-house development, which monitors metrics via the SAP Control web service, has been further developed so that you can not only analyse the difference to the last check during syslog monitoring, but can also specify a lookback time. This makes it possible to analyse messages from the last half hour, for example.
The cesu-8 coding is no longer available in current Python versions. As a result, the plugin returns a cesu-8 error. The connection library has been replaced with the new version. If the error occurs, simply install the new library using pip.
pip install hdbcli
If the new library is not installed, a fallback to the existing library takes place automatically.
